Key Steps
Four key steps in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Step 1A Realize you are a sinner All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Ecclesiastes 7:20

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Isaiah 64:6
Step 1B Believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8
Step 1C Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalm 51:7

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Leviticus 17:11

Summary
If you completed step 1A-1C and said the sinners prayer and truly meant it, then you will Eternal Life . The Bible says in Acts 2:21 that "whosoever calleth upon the Lord shall be saved." Remember, we are saved by God's grace not by our good works (Ephesians 2:8-9). We must be led by the Holy Spirit so that we are obedient to God.
For spiritual growth, steps 2-3 are essential.
You must observe step 4 to be a true disciple.
